In the more ordinary or day-to-day encounters of life I appreciate my early morning routine of exercising at CURVES, one way for me to be stretched into wellness. I love living in MN and experiencing the extremes of each season. I love to bicycle in the Spring, Summer and early Fall. I love to crunch ice on sidewalks in the cold of winter and I am captivated by the glistening sight of a freshly fallen snow. I love night skies that are deep darkness holding out the glimmer of light as if precious jewels. I like discovering the star formations that make up the big and little dipper etc. I’ve been held captive by literature, in particular The Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns and The Hawk and the Dove to name just a few. I’m a person who thinks the football season is far too short. I can enjoy any game, college or professional. I enjoy sharing a meal, a good cup of coffee or a fine red wine with a friend. I’m probably one who enjoys the “unexciting life” because the ordinary keeps me focused and engaged. Not a lot of flash or spotlight will come my way and that’s okay with me. For in all things God may be glorified.
Favorite books: The Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns and The Hawk and the Dove to name just a few.
