Agatha Muggli, OSB
Born and raised in eastern Montana, Agatha came to Annunciation Monastery, Bismarck, North Dakota, right out of high school in 1961. Her undergrad degree is in music from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN; Master’s in Catholic spirituality is from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA.
Agatha’s first round of work in formation started in 1974 after she finished the coursework at Duquesne.. She served for 6 years. She then spent 12 years in ministry at their University of Mary. Agatha returned to formation ministry and has been involved since then.
Besides her formation ministry she is organist for the monastery, involved in liturgy and in our ministry of sponsorship.
Favorite Book: no favorite but appreciates books on Benedictine topics.
Favorite music: classical, especially Mozart
Spare time: walking, biking and finding wildflowers on the prairies of North Dakota.
